VADALS WARRANTY POLICY 

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

In addition to all other rights and remedies in respect of the product which you have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010(Cth) and any other applicable law, Pitworth Pty Ltd, trading as Vadals (“Vadals”) warrants that products manufactured or supplied by Vadals (“Vadals Products”) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the warranty period (shown in the table below) from the date of original sale.

Unless otherwise required by law, this warranty does not apply to products which do not appear in the table below.

We provide the following warranty periods on Vadal Products.

Small Benchtop Mincers and Vac Machines

We will at our option, either repair or replace Vadals Products which we are satisfied are defective. To the extent permitted by law, our sole liability for breach of a condition, warranty or other obligation implied by law is limited, at our discretion, to:

  1. the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods;
  2. the repair of the goods;
  3. the cost of repairing the goods or of acquiring equivalent goods;

This warranty applies only where the goods:

  1. have been properly used and operated for their intended purpose;
  2. have been properly maintained and cared for;
  3. have been used in accordance with the relevant instruction manual; and
  4. have not been added to, modified or altered in any way, other than by an authorised representative of Vadals;

To make a claim under this warranty you must, within the warranty period, at your own cost, return the goods to Vadals you allege are defective, provide written details of the defect, and give us proof of purchase.

If a successful warranty claim is made, we will return the repaired or replaced goods to you at our cost and reimburse you for your reasonable expenses in sending the claim to us. Repair or replacement of the goods does not grant a new warranty and will not renew or extend the warranty period past the warranty period given at the date of original purchase.
